The Manhattanville Review is an online journal of literature, art and ideas; a collection of diverse voices and visions featuring work by creative minds from all walks of life, brought to you by the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Manhattanville College. We accept submissions of previously unpublished poetry, fiction, nonfiction, cross-genre writing, multi-media creations, art & unclassifiable items of interest. Please wait until we respond to your submission before submitting again. We promise to get back to you in as timely a manner as possible. Simultaneous submissions are fine, just withdraw your work online if it's accepted elsewhere by logging in to your Submittable account.

We accept black and white or colored works of art and have a wide range of aesthetic preferences. Submissions are accepted in PDF or JPG form, with a five piece maximum, with a title for each piece. Please keep in mind we are an online journal and seek art submissions that can be easily enjoyed and showcased on a virtual platform.

We are interested in dynamic, well crafted, creative pieces containing a compelling voice, ranging from five to ten pages, double spaced.

We are interested in polished, creative, and concise pieces of Fiction, ranging from five to ten pages.

We select a wide range of poetry in various forms, styles, and subject matters that showcase craft, contemplation, and unique perspectives. Please submit one to five poems, ten pages maximum, all in one document.
